Flying Eagles Qualifies for AFCON U-20 in Niger 2019

A Kano Pillars Nazifi Yahaya hattrick  and  strikes from Enyimba forward Wasiu Alalade and Norway based midfielder Aremu Afeez ensured that Nigeria’s Flying Eagles qualified for the 2019 Total Africa  U-20 Cup of Nations in Niger after dispatching Mauritania  5-0 in their reverse fixture  played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Saturday.

The first leg ended 1-1 with Mauritania in Nouakchot last  week Saturday. Meaning that the Flying Eagles  qualified 6-1 on aggregate.

 Paul Aigbogun’s  boys will be aiming to dethrone defending champions Zambia at the 15th edition of the tournament in Niger 2019, as the top four teams at the tournament will qualify for  the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
