INEC VOWS TO IMPROVE CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS AHEAD OF 2019 POLLS.

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says it will improve conduct of the electoral process.

Lagos Resident Electoral Commissioner, SAM OLUMEKUN, disclosed this at a workshop on “Lagos State Election Security Strategic Plan for 2019 Elections.”

The workshop was organised by Nigeria Policing Programme, NPP, in collaboration with INEC in Lagos State.

OLUMEKUN also mentioned that six million, six hundred and nine thousand one hundred and fifteen eligible Nigerians registered to vote during the 2019 general elections in the state.
