PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI SET TO VISIT SOUTH AFRICA

Meanwhile President MUHAMMADU BUHARI is expected to depart Abuja on a three-day State Visit to South Africa today.

This comes following an invitation by President CYRIL RAMAPHOSA, to discuss welfare of Nigerians, and find common grounds for building harmonious relations with their hosts.

While in South Africa, President BUHARI will hold a town hall meeting with Nigerians living in the country, to sharing in their experiences and reassuring them of the government’s commitment to protect lives and property.

More than 500 Nigerians have returned from South Africa following the attacks that destroyed their hard earn property and businesses.

President Buhari will be accompanied by Kano State Governor Abdullahi UMAR GANDUJE, Governor Plateau State SIMON LALONG and Ebonyi State Governor DAVID UMAHI, and they are expected to return on Friday.
