SECURITY BEEF UP IN KADUNA AHEAD OF TRIAL OF EL-ZAKZAKY

Ahead of the trial of Shiite leader, IBRAHIM ELZAKZAKY, the Kaduna State Police Command says the ban on protests, processions and demonstrations in the state are still in force.

 

Command’s Public Relation Officer, YAKUBU SABO disclosed this in a press statement in Kaduna, saying that the Police will deal decisively with violators of the ban.

 

The statement is coming ahead of a High Court ruling on the application filed by Shiite leader, IBRAHIM ELZAKZAKY, seeking for bail to travel to India for medical attention.

 

The command PPRO said there willbe massive deployment of personnel and urged the public to go about their normal businesses, but report suspicious persons promptly to avert security breach.
