IMO STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR GERALD IRONA SAYS NO MORE SHARING OF ISOPADEC FUNDS.

Imo State Deputy Governor, GERALD IRONA says funds meant for Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission-ISOPADEC will no longer be diverted, but will be used efficiently for the development of the Oil Producing areas of the State.

GERALD IRONA disclosed this while addressing stakeholders during a Special Town Hall meeting on Cassava-Buy-Out Pilot Scheme and General Training Programme Sensitization and Awareness, organized by the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission-ISOPADEC at Oguta Civic Center, Oguta.

Irona assured the people that the Rebuild Imo administration of Governor Emeka Ihedioha will ensure that ISOPADEC is prudent in the management of their resources.

On security, the Deputy Governor informed of plans to host a security summit, aimed at addressing security challenges in Ohaji Egbema and Oguta area.

Earlier in his speech, ISOPADECManaging Director ANTHONY OKWUOSHA expressed readiness of the Commission to make life more meaningful for the people, promising not to disappoint people of the area.
