Tiwa Savage thanks Wale Turner for blessing her with the new song, ‘One’

Songwriters do not get their due credit in the Nigerian music industry and it is vital that big name artists give them name credit for the growth of the sector.

Tiwa Savage’s latest single, ‘One’ is a perfect way to end what has been an amazing year for the singer and she has now revealed that the song was a gift written by the upcoming talent, Wale Turner.

On Thursday, November 15, Tiwa Savage shared her new single, ‘One’, the emotional record that has the singer showing gratitude for all that has come her way this year became an instant favourite among her fans.

The Mavin diva has however taken to her Instagram page to reveal the identity of the person who wrote the song. In a message shared late on Sunday, November 18, Tiwa posted, ”waleturner thank you for blessing me with this song.”
