Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, says the prudent management of resources by President Muhammadu Buhari administration has boosted development in the country.

He believes the current administration has achieved far more in terms of infrastructure and development than previous administrations.

According to a statement issued by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Osinbajo said this during a public lecture organized by the Council of Chief of Imams, Ikeja Division in Lagos.

He also listed other achievements of the government such as the N-Power Programme which according to him about 500,000 young graduates have benefited from and the TraderMoni scheme.

The comments come days after the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) asked the government to be more prudent in managing the country’s resources following its plan to donate a sum of 500,000 dollar to Guinea Bissau, among other materials.
