FEDERAL GOVERNMENT VOWS TO IMPROVE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DELIVERY IN NIGERIA.

Federal Government has vowed to improve primary healthcare delivery for Nigerians, in a bid to make it easily accessible across the country.

Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) made the pledge during the first quarter review meeting of the agency held in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

In his remarks, the Executive Secretary of Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Hillary Agbo told journalists that the summit was necessary to improve on primary health care in an accountable and transparent manner.

According to him, the meeting follows the Basic Health Provision Fund approved by the Federal government last year.
