Gunmen Shot Two Police Officers, One Civilian In Imo

Unknown gunmen on Tuesday shot two police officers dead at Umuji in Akabor security checkpoint, along Owerri-Okigwe road in Imo State.
The assailants reportedly shot a gate man in-charge of a nearby guest house where some of the police officers ran to for their safety.
Community members of Akabo in Ikeduru Local Area where the incident took place are on the run, apparently for fear of police mass arrests.
As at press time, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, is yet to comment on the incident.
