IMO STATE HEALTH INSURANCE AGENCY BEGINS ASSESSMENT TOUR OF HOSPITAL FACILITIES IN THE STATE.

Imo State Health Insurance Agency commenced a three day facility assessment tour of hospital facilities in the State on Monday.

According to the Executive Secretary of the Agency Dr JOHN ONYEOKORO, the tour is to undertake field assessment of hospitals that have indicated interest in the Scheme                                   

DR ONYEOKPORO also affirmed that the assessment tour which is expected to last for three days, has various health institutions, associations including the State Ministry of Health as well as the media as part of the eighteen man team.

The Imo State Health Insurance Scheme is expected to bring qualitative health care to the people of Imo State. Enrolment for the scheme is billed to commence soon.
