Military Allegedly Neutralises 6 Suspected IPOB Members In Igboro Forest

Joint Taskforce ‘Operation UDO KA’ has neutralised six suspected IPOB members and its affiliate, Eastern Security Network in a forest known as Igboro in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.
The Taskforce Spokesman Lt Col Jonah Unuakhalu stated that the clearance operation which took place over the weekend was conducted with a view to apprehend the perpetrators of the attack against troops who were on official duty in Aba on May 30.
He stated that during the intelligence led operation, troops discovered Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along its axis of advance and one of its soldier sustained minor injury
