EKITI STATE PAYS OUTSTANDING DEBTS

Ekiti State Government has paid the outstanding counterpart funds for 2015 and 2016 UBEC/SUBEB projects which the immediate past administration in the state neglected throughout its four years in office.

Governor Kayode Fayemi, who made this known in Ado- Ekiti while flagging of the 2016 Teachers Professional Development (TPD) Training Programme jointly organised by the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC), said his administration will re-launch and refocus the basic education sector in the state.
