IMO LAWMAKER KENNEDY IBEH DENIES SENDING THUGS TO ATTACK JOURNALIST IN THE STATE.

Member representing Obowo State Constituency in the imo state house of assembly, Rt Honourable KENNEDY IBEH has debunked the report making rounds in the media that he sent thugs to attack one Mr FINIAN CHUKS who work with News filed Newspaper, saying it’s a cheap blackmail.

FINIAN had accused the Lawmaker of masterminding his attack at the APC secretariat after an event which witnessed a massive defection of top leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

Reacting to this development, KENNEDY who described the story as fake news, said he wasn’t even aware what played out at the event between FINIAN and some set of persons, while accusing the journalist of trying to taint his image by using the print media and social media.

The Lawmaker also denied having any agreement with FENIAN to work with him as an aide, but rather he said he took the journalist as a brother who needed alms.

The Ranking Lawmaker also has cautioned Imo journalists, especially those in the print media, against sensationalizing reports just to make sales.
