Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he was “worried” about forward, Eden Hazard after the former Chelsea star sustained an injury in his side’s 2-2 draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Hazard was forced to withdraw from the encounter after 20 minutes in the first-half following a strong challenge from Thomas Meunier.
The Belgium international was replaced by winger, Gareth Bale.
Goals from Karim Benzema (2), Kylian Mbappe (1) and Pablo Sarabia (1) ensure both sides got a point each at the Santiago Bernabeu
Speaking about Hazard after the match, Zidane was quoted by Metro UK as saying: “There is a little worry over Hazard at full time.
“He was in pain at full time, and we think it is more than an impact injury.
“It is a sprained ankle, but hopefully not a severe sprain. We will know more in the coming days.”
