Kelechi Iheanacho, another Nigerian score as Leicester City record victory

Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho scored his second goal for Leicester City as they went through to the quarterfinal of the Carabao Cup in Tuesday.

Leicester City secured a 3-1 win over Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

 

It was goals from Iheanacho, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison that secured a win for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Iheanacho who made his first start of the season and gave The Foxes the lead on 7 minutes.

The Nigerian international scored against Luton Town in the third round.

 

Also last night, Nigeria-eligible striker Josh Eppiah scored a brace to help Leicester City to a 2-1 victory over Grimsby Town in the Leasing.com Trophy at Blundell Park.
